Korean Riders Exploring Washington

Ride strong.
Explore more.

A close-knit Seattle-area cycling community built around great roads, spectacular Washington scenery, strong and supportive riding, and the very important tradition of eating well afterward.

More than a group ride

Small crew. Big rides. Great company.

Founded in 2025, KREW — Korean Riders Exploring Washington — is a close-knit group of eight riders based around greater Seattle. We ride because Washington is too beautiful not to explore by bike, and because the best miles are better when they are shared.

We are road-focused, experienced and energetic, but never about dropping people for bragging rights. KREW rides aim to be challenging, safety-minded and supportive: good route planning, good communication, good group discipline, and plenty of encouragement when the road points uphill.

What makes KREW, KREW

Serious about the ride.
Not too serious about ourselves.

Strong + supportive

We like a spirited pace and a good climb, but the point is to finish with stories, not egos. We look out for one another and ride as a group.

Washington, explored

Waterfront roads, forest corridors, mountain views, iconic bridges and quiet backroads — KREW rides are an excuse to see more of the Pacific Northwest.

Earn the post-ride meal

A KREW ride does not really end at the last mile. Coffee, noodles, barbecue, bakery stops and a proper meal afterward are all part of the program.

Road first. Gravel sometimes.

Local favorites to big Cascade events.

Most KREW rides are on pavement, with the occasional gravel or mixed-surface adventure when the route is too good to pass up. We also regularly take on major Cascade Bicycle Club events such as STP and RSVP — the kind of long days that become even better with teammates.

From a fast local loop to an all-day adventure, the goal stays the same: ride well, ride safely, and come home already talking about the next one.

Life with KREW

The miles are only half the story.

The route matters. So do the people, the roadside laughs, the regroup at the top, and whatever we decide to eat afterward.
